"Sky Woman #1" began with an oversaturated photo of a mushroom g

rowing in my front yard.

The story of Sky Woman is a story of origin from the indigenous people in the Great Lakes region and surrounding regions.  A friend who is an indigenous person shared this story with me, and I was deeply moved by the balance of humans, animals and our planet ... each accepting their roles in creation and working together in harmony ... some sacrificing their own lives for the better good.
